Do you know that in this decade,175 million children will be negatively impacted by climate change, yet most of them lack of environmental consciousness? Our group believe increase kid's awareness on global warming and environmental issues are very crucial and fundamental. However, we acknowledge that learning about these things can be weary for the kids, so we need to think of a fun way to teach them.
This story illustrates how an environmental activist mom is trying to have her kid learn more about environmental issues and surprisingly find out her five years old kids actual is aware of global warming because of our app.
Start from building a new character
habitats with different cute animal mascots
to increase kid's interest in the game
Short introduction of each habitats as hook to catch user's
attention and interest in the game
Character customization allows multiple users
Gender neutral character encourages difference in individual kids
Shop serves as reward to encourage users to spend more time on the app
Start from existing character
Start the game with a short fact about the environmental issue in the ocean
Follow up with a quick introduction to make the game clearer to the users
Dialogue with animal to make game more interactive
Tapp CO2 clouds to get points
Educate kids that CO2 emission is bad for air quality and the environment.
Turn off the light switch to get points
Introduce the good behavior of turning off light to the kids
Tap the fire to get points
Educate kids about the serious wildfire in the forest and how it harms wildlife.
Identify whether the trash is recyclable or not
Reenforce kid's knowledge of recycling trash to help them execute it in real life.
